Pre Packaged ASTM Sacrificial High Potential Magnesium Anode
The High Potential HP Magnesium anode is made from high-purity
magnesium and is ideal for structures buried in soils with
resistivities in excess of 2,000 ohm/cm. Compared to conventional
magnesium anodes, it produces a higher driving voltage, thanks to
its superior electrochemical properties. In practical experience,
the actual measured driving potential is between -1.8V to -1.85V,
providing the most powerful protection to the targeted structure.
The anodes are consumed uniformly, ensuring a longer working life.
All our magnesium anodes are manufactured and tested according to
latest international standards such as ASTM B843 and ASTM G97, and
are available from both M1C (High Potential) and AZ63B (Standard
Potential) magnesium anode.
